Inter-School Model United Nations
The Winds of Change - Adaptation and Innovation
ISMUNHK is a local, student-led Model United Nations conference, supported by the United Nations Educational, Social and Cultural Organization Hong Kong Association (UNESCO HK), the UNESCO Glocal Peace Center, and the Central and Western District Association for Culture and Arts (CWDACA). We aim to bring awareness and knowledge of global issues through discussion and debate on a versatile range of topics, with the common objective of promoting quality dialogue on various world issues, the freedom of expression, and most importantly, the United Nations’ founding principles. It remains true to its vision that all students, no matter their background or their ability, should be given opportunities to be involved in international affairs, by introducing MUN to schools which have traditionally not been active members of the MUN community.

1. To offer students an opportunity to know more about global security and politics, international economics, historical conflicts, and health issues worldwide
2. To develop students' critical thinking and debating skills
3. To provide students with other learning experiences for all rounded and whole person development
4. To promote Model United Nations within Hong Kong
Coming from 9 different colleges, 11 of us are enthusiasts of Model United Nations. Our members have a wide variety of knowledge ranging from organising events to leadership skills.
